A Brief Review of the Studies of Teacher Talk in Second Language Classrooms

This paper systematically reviews the studies of second language teacher talk in classrooms firstly from perspective framework and then three categories-linguistic function, medium-oriented procedural regulative function. Next, a critical review relevant literature China will be presented with help tool <em>Citespace</em>. Through comparison at home abroad, it is significance to enhance research primary secondary schools consider frameworks given by domestic authoritative scholars look deep into teachers' discourse awareness competence. Additionally, there are still many fields that researchers have not paid attention to, such as selection conversion, ability, other time (play time; silence), lesson type (listening speaking, reading writing) etc.
